Ponte - Jun 2017 - Volume 73 - Issue 6 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2017.6.16 Abstract:The general purpose of this study is to determine the self-efficacy perceptions of Special Education Teacher candidates towards computer course.�The quantitative research method was used in the research.�The research was carried out in 2016-2017 Spring term.�The study group consisted of teacher candidates studying at the Department of Special Education at the Faculty of Education. A total of�101 teacher candidates participated in the study.�"Computer Self-Efficacy Perception" scale was applied to prospective teachers.�Data was collected by an online questionnaire.�Collected data was analyzed using the SPSS program.�Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values, one-way ANOVA, and Kruskal Wallis H-test and T-test were conducted to analyze the data obtained from the self-efficacy perception scale.�The results of the study revealed that special education teachers had positive self efficacy perception towards computer course.
