Abstract

Far-infrared magneto-optical absorption measurements of InGaAs/InAlAs heterostructures were carried out to determine a zero-field spin splitting. Peak splitting due to the zero-field spin splitting can be observed in a modulation absorption signal under pulsed electric field excitation or photoexcitation. Zero-field spin splitting is found to be 9~meV in the sample.
