Abstract
A method for the determination of platelet factor‐3 by means of a prothrombin consumption test has been developed. The suspension of platelets with a concentration of 50–100,000/μl is washed three times. The results are expressed in percentage of residual prothrombin. The method is also useful in thrombocytopenic states.
