Abstract
The separation of several phenolic compounds usually found in waste water has been optimized by using the modelling response surface method. The variable coefficient parameter (VCP) has been used as a criterion to obtain maximum peak separation. Initial mobile phase (% methanol), change of solvent strength of mobile phase during analysis and separation temperature have been considered as experimental parameters.
