Abstract
The problem involving use of solutions of the axisymmetric version of elastoplastic analysis of geomechanical structures is examined for modeling the sinking of a precast pile under an axial force. Results of numerical investigation of the behavior of single piles and piles within a pile field are analyzed. A method is outlined for determination of parameters of a pile field on the basis of results of static testing of individual piles, static probing of soils, and theoretical calculations of individual piles and piles within a field.
