Abstract

The placement of the best ATM network service nodes is a topic covered in this article. The Vasileostrovsky district (St. Petersburg) is used as an example to illustrate the issue of ATM placement. The simulation model created is based on geoanalytical approach and methods of service points optimal location. The model of consumer flows, the model of mini-sums of distances, maximizing market share, the probabilistic Huff model, the McFadden model, the Batty spatial interaction model, and the Lloyd's Relaxation spatial clustering model are also considered among them. McFadden model exhibits the most positive outcomes in contrast to the simplest analytical model.
