Abstract
Electrophoresis in polyacrylamide gels can be utilized to estimate the molecular size of ultramicro samples of acid mucopolysaccharides. The distance of migration of hyaluronate, chondroitin sulfate A, and chondroitin sulfate C varied linearly with the logarithm of the molecular size for each set of homologous polymers.
