Abstract

The ternary systems with a common cation, NaCl–NaI–Na2WO4 and KCl–KI–K2WO4, were studied by differential thermal analysis. The composition point of the congruently melting compound NaCl ⋅ Na2WO4 formed in the NaCl–Na2WO4 system divides the NaI–NaCl–Na2WO4 system into two triangles, in each of which there is a ternary eutectic. The characteristics of invariant points were determined, and phase equilibria in the studied systems were described.
