Abstract
The analytical problem of the determination of trace amounts of strontium by flameless AAS in the graphite tube is examined. Inter-element interferences are of great significance. Reliable determinations of Sr in complex geological materials with very low contents in Sr, such as micas, can be achieved without separations by using standards with matrix compositions close to those of the samples.
