Abstract

Objective To establish a method for determining the ketoconazole in ketoconazole and triamcinolone acetonide cream.Methods HPLC was adopted.The determination was performed on Shimpack VP-ODS C18 under the following conditions:the mobile phase was methanol and pH 6.8 phosphate buffer (80:20) ; the flow rate was 1.0 ml · min-1; and the detection wavelength was 254 nm.Results The calibration curve of ketoconazole was linear within the concentration range of 19.34 ~ 116.10 μg · ml-1 (r=0.9999),with an average recovery rate of 100.29%(RSD=0.26%).Conclusions This method is specific,accurate,and sensitive and can be used to control the quality of ketoconazole and triamcinolone acetonide cream.
