Abstract

The inter- and intragranular critical current densities were determined for different types of coated conductors as well as mono- and multifilamentary (BiPb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox tapes. Either the inter- or the intragranular critical current density was changed systematically by bending the tapes or by neutron irradiation, respectively. Thus, we are able to assess these two critical current densities, even in samples with very good grain connectivity.
