Abstract

AbstractGas chromatography in which an alkali flame ionization detector is utilized has been shown to be a highly sensitive and selective method for determination of indoleacetic acid and certain other indoles. Methodology for detecting indoleacetic acid in plant samples (Fragaria × ananassa Duch. and Malus pumila Mill.) is described.
