Abstract

The classical densification geodetic networks, the permanent or the fundamental densification GPS/GNSS networks, and the deformation monitoring networks must provide the precision and reliability requirements. These networks should also be able to detect the possible earth crust movements. In designed densification networks, if the total observation weights at a network point rise, the sensitivity capacity of the point increases at the same rate. However, the controllability of these observations becomes weaker in comparison with the neighbor observations. This fact is a fundamental design problem that must be solved in the evaluation stage of geodetic networks. In this study, a query algorithm is recommended for a solution of the described design problem.
