Abstract

Abstract Results of determining ethisterone by the KBr disk technique are presented. Two mixtures and tablets from 2 commercial sources were analyzed by the Associate Referee and 4 collaborators. In general, the average recoveries agreed, within 4.5%, with the amounts of ethisterone which were added or declared. In most cases, the recoveries from replicate determinations agreed within 3.8%. The method is recommended for adoption as official, first action.
