Abstract
Common and widely studied chiral reagents that are used to determine enantiomeric purity and assign the absolute configuration of particular classes of compounds using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy are described. These include chiral derivatizing agents, chiral solvating agents, cavity compounds, metal complexes, and liquid crystals.
