Abstract
A survey of measurements of E2/M1 — mixing parameters for transitions between the γ -band head IπK = 2+2 and the first excited state 2+0 of the ground state rotational band has been given at the Nashville Conference in August 1969 1 ). In the meantime we have pertormed new angular correlation experiments with Ge(Li) — detectors especially with transitions between higher excited states in these bands. These measurements may show the effects of the admixture of other states on the Ml -matrix elements; these effects are well established for the E2 — transition probabilities (ref. 2). Furthermore, the measurements may serve as a test of the different models predicting mixing parameters3–5).
