Abstract
The rigid triaxial rotor plus particle model (RTRP) was applied to the nucleus 125Xe in order to determine the value of γ deformation. The signature splitting of Yrast levels for negative parity levels ( h 11 2 ) and the life time of the ( I= 7 2 + , K= 7 2 ) isomer for positive parity levels are very sensitive to γ deformation. From the two analysis one obtain the same value for deformation γ = 24 0.
