Abstract

1. A method is proposed for determining cyclic crack resistance of structural materials as crack resistance corresponding to real loading rate (in the cycle). 2. The Kfc values calculated by the proposed method for the 15Kh2MFA, 15Kh2MFAI, 15Kh2MFAII, 15G2AFDps, 10GN2MFA, 15Kh3MA, and 45 steels and Armco iron showed a satisfactory (within ±30%) correlation of the predicted experimental data. 3. The proposed method can be used for an approximate evaluation of crack resistance of materials working under cyclic load using dependence\(K_I = f (\dot K_I )\)
