Abstract

The goal of the study was to determine the relationship between the annual performance of trucks and their age in connection with vehicle fleet operation at a large iron and steel plant. After identifying the patterns of changes in these performance indicators, we aimed to study the main factors affecting the intensity of these changes. Based on the performed analysis, we determined the factors affecting the operation of the vehicle life cycle management system and developed recommendations to reduce the intensity of changes in the annual performance. By using the data obtained, we propose mathematical models for changes in the annual performance of vehicles of various ages and brands, belonging to various functional groups. The obtained results allowed us to study the influence of the vehicle age on the annual decrease in performance depending on the existing factors and use the corresponding relationships to model the optimization processes in the existing vehicle fleets at enterprises.
