Abstract
The beryllium content of eighty geological reference samples has been determined by atomic absorption spectrometry using a nitrous oxide‐acetylene flame or a carbon tube atomizer, after extraction of beryllium as acetylacetonate with methylisobutylketone (MIBK). The agreement between the present results and published data is generally good.
