Abstract
A new method for determination of 226Ra using molecular recognition technology product AnaLig® Sr-01 was developed. For radium recovery, 133Ba tracer was used. The method’s performance was investigated by analysis of model gravel samples spiked with international intercomparison sample with known activity of 226Ra. The proposed method for the determination of 226Ra was applied for analysis of various admixtures of building materials from Slovakia and activity concentrations of 226Ra in the samples were in the range (5.2–165.0) Bq kg−1.
