ALDH1A2 catalyzes the formation of retinoic acid (RA). RA is important during the formation of primordial follicles in humans and oocyte cytoplasmic maturation in the bovine. Expressions of RA receptors have been found in CC and higher RA concentration are found in follicular fluids of dominants follicles which was correlated with estradiol (E2) concentration. Objective
