Abstract

This is the first study to isolate the taxoid taxuyunnaninC (group of 14-hydroxylated taxoids) from the biomass of suspension cell culture of the Canadian yew (Taxus canadensis). According to available data, this is the first report of the presence of nonpolar (polyacylated) forms of 14-hydroxylated taxoids, including taxuyunnanin C, in T. canadensis.
