Abstract

It is a serious health hazard to humans when ingesting <i>Ruditapes Philippinarum</i> contaminated by heavy metals. Detection of heavy metals contaminated <i>Ruditapes Philippinarum</i> is important and necessary. In this study, hyperspectral image and multilayer perceptron (MLP) were used to rapidly identify <i>Ruditapes Philippinarum</i> contaminated by heavy metals. Hyperspectral images of healthy samples and heavy metals contaminated samples were collected and input to a MLP model to rapidly detect. The experimental results showed that the MLP algorithm was better than other classical algorithms in detecting healthy and contaminated samples of <i>Ruditapes Philippinarum</i> with several performances of indices.
