Abstract
A photoconductivity spectrum of p type Cd x Fe 1− x Se was investigated. A negative photoresponse has been observed at 1.7 eV. The origin for the negative photoconductance is attributed to the transition of the electrons from inner Fe 2+ level to the top of the valence band where they recombine with the holes.
