Abstract
We present SCUBA sub‐submillimeter data of four bipolar evolved sources, two Planetary nebulae (PNe) and two Post‐AGBs (PAGBs) which will allow us to determine the geometry of the magnetic fields by dust alignment. The presence and geometry of the field will help to understand its role in the shaping of the late type stellar objects. As a result, we found that all the sources (NGC 7027, NGC 6537, NGC 6302 and CRL 2688) show a magnetic field, the three first present a well defined toroidal field and the fourth shows also a poloidal field. The data indicates a correlation between the field orientation and the nebular structure.
