Introduction

It is an important issue to apply machine vision technology in automatic apple target recognition. It can be applied in the precision agriculture research fields for production estimation and growth condition monitoring. Many experts and their research teams focused on color combined with texture feature method[1], clustering algorithm[2,3], neural network algorithm[4], clustering algorithm combined with neural network method[5], clustering algorithm combined with homomorphic filtering method[6], evolutionary algorithm[7] and tried to solve the fruit image segmentation problems.
