Abstract

Human polyomavirus 7 (HPyV7) is associated with pruritic dermatoses that primarily affect immunocompromised patients. We identified extensive host–virus DNA hybrids in HPyV7-associated rash, highlighting the need for additional studies on long-term consequences of HPyV7 infection, including its oncogenic potential.
