Abstract

The paper adresses the problem of detecting common fragments in a sequence of images recorded in volume recording medium by the method of superimposed Fourier holograms in the joint-transform scheme. As applied to the description of images as realisations of a homogeneous random field, the dependence of the detection efficiency on the number of superimposed holograms is analysed by estimating the image information capacity and the common and distinct fragments of images in the recorded sequences. Theoretical conclusions are confirmed by the results of numerical experiments.
