Abstract

The detection and treatment of tumors is one medical issue that remains challenging in the field of biomedicine. Because earlier imaging methods were intrusive, the CT 131 Malignant Tumor and MRI imaging techniques let the surgeons provide a better picture. Pre-processing, segmentation, and morphological operation are the three stages of processing of tumor images. After the source image is acquired, it is pre-processed to create an image that is comparable to a histogram by converting the original image to greyscale, using a high pass filter to get rid of noise, a median filter to boost quality, and finishing with an enhancement stage.
