Abstract
Virus like particles were detected in leaves of Crocus vernus hybrids showing pale green and yellowish narrow stripes as well as broken lines on the leaves. The virus was mechanically transmissible only to Chenopodium quinoa. It does not seem to be identical or related to other viruses hitherto described in Crocus spp.
