Abstract

In the process of modern industrial production, the safety helmet worn by workers on the construction site is of great significance to their own safety protection. Aiming at the situation of workers wearing safety helmets on the construction site, this paper proposes a method of target depth detection based on the vibe algorithm based on HSV color extraction and target tracking by Kalman filter integrating centroid contour. First, the HSV color of the helmet was extracted according to the video monitoring screen, and then the vibe algorithm was used to segment the foreground target contour, and finally the center of mass and contour were fused to carry out Kalman helmet tracking. Experimental results show that this method can accurately identify and track the safety helmet and effectively protect the personal safety of workers.
