Abstract

Methods and instrumentation based on optical micro resonance for real-time detection and identification according to size, shape and optical properties of nanoparticles and biological agents is being developed. The idea of the method is to use the dependence of the resonance frequencies of dielectical microresonators on the properties of the surrounding medium as a one-way disposable sensor for a number of parameters.
