Abstract

TI-201 is one of the most common tumor-seeking agents in clinical use, but it has been used principally for imaging lung, thyroid, and head and neck cancer. TI-201 is taken up by viable tumor rather than by necrotic or scar tissue. In the current report, an 80-year-old woman with a protruding and ulcerative mass on her left vulva was hospitalized for dual-phase TI-201 cancer survey with abnormal tracer uptake seen in the vulvar region and pelvic lymph nodes. Histopathologic findings were squamous cell carcinomas of the vulva with pelvic lymph node metastases.
