Abstract

Research aimed at the determination of the best method for the nondestructive control over the detection of defects in five- and seven-layer objects with a honeycomb filler has been carried out. It has been shown that control using an impedance method makes it possible to detect defects of a honeycomb filler with a cell size of 8 mm, as well as defects between the honeycomb filler and monolithic covers made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic. The diameter of the minimum consistently detectable defect is 16 mm.
