Abstract

The author has since 1948 been Staff Microanalyst at the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory, Madison. Mr. Goin received his training at the School of Criminology, University of California, where he received a Master of Criminology degree. While a student at the University of California, he collaborated with Professor P. L. Kirk on an article dealing with soil identification which was published in this Journal. His current paper is Research and Development Project No. 1 of the Wisconsin Laboratory.-EDITOR.
