Abstract

The kinetics of the decomposition of nanocluster polyoxomolybdate (POM) with a keplerate structure Mo72Fe30 and toroidal POMs Mo138 in aqueous solutions was studied. The POM concentration was determined by spectrophotometry. The limiting stage of the destruction was concluded to be the decomposition of free keplerate molecules (ions) or the keplerates of aggregates (globules).
