Abstract
Abstract This article is written to 1) See description of verbal interpersonal communication educators towards learners in the teaching and learning process in early childhood education, 2) see how the image of non-verbal interpersonal communication educators towards learners in the teaching and learning process in early childhood education. The research was conducted in PAUD Kecamatan Padang Barat the number of educators 34. Data collection techniques used were observation, data analysis techniques using a percentage formula. The results illustrate that 1) interpersonal communication is verbal communication is going well as aspects of language educators have used with good speech, educators using the polite speech, speech educators using the easy to understand the child, 2) nonverbal communication used by teachers in implement teaching and learning is going well dilhat of aspects of facial expressions educators looked at the kid in the face is good enough.

Summary
Penulis mengambil sampel pendidik Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) yang lembaga pendidikannya berada di Kecamatan Padang Barat Kota Padang yang berjumlah 34 orang. Langkah-langkah dalam penggunaan persentase adalah sebagai berikut : Hasil Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi kepada pendidik tetang komunikasi interpersonal Pendidik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar pada PAUD di Kecamatan Padang Barat dengan menyebarkan 33 item pertanyaan kepada responden. Berdasarkan hasil deskripsi data dapat disimpulkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal pendidik bahasa yang digunakan pendidik di PAUD Padang Barat dengan rata-rata (3,2) dan tingkat capaian responden (80,2%) termasuk kategori baik. Berdasarkan hal di atas dapat dijabarkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal pendidik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar pada pendidikan anak usia dini di Kecamatan Padang Barat, dilihat dari masing-masing indikator bahwa tentang bahasa termasuk kategori baik (80,02%), , berbicara (80,15%), membaca dan mendengar (80,4%), ekspresi wajah (79,96%).
