Abstract
In this paper, we give constructions for various types of designs using maximal arcs in projective planes. In particular, we construct resolvable BIBDs and group-divisible designs having orthogonal resolutions. We also define a new type of resolution of designs that we call a hyperresolution. Examples are obtained from the maximal arcs of Denniston.
