Abstract

This study investigates the impact of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) on the thermal and optical properties of polyaniline (PANI) films. Integration of AuNPs significantly alters the film's structure and characteristics. Thermal analysis reveals enhanced stability in AuNP-modified films compared to pure PANI, with reduced weight loss at high temperatures. AuNPs substantially influence surface morphology, optical structure, and thermal traits, enhancing the films' capabilities. The nanocomposites also exhibit improved hydrophobicity. These findings underscore potential applications in electronics, energy storage, sensing, and catalysis. The study's insights offer a pathway for tailored material design, promising enhanced performance in high-temperature and optoelectronic settings. This research sparks innovation and opportunities for further exploration.
