Abstract

A simulation technique is proposed for devices providing for wideband matching of slow-wave systems that are coupled resonator chains. The technique requires the minimum CPU time for computations. A traveling-wave tube section including matching elements and a waveguide energy output are designed. The results of numerical and experimental tests of the proposed technique are presented.
