Abstract

This research aimed to design MVL as interactive multimedia to support the process of teaching vocabulary to the seventh-grade students of SMPN 3 Sungai Ambawang. This research took the form of developmental research. The researcher has done three passes of ADDIE, which is ADD (Analysing, Designing, and Developing). While analyzing the data, the researcher followed the following six procedures: acquire involved with the data, create the initial codes, look for themes, identify themes, and compose them. The product was evaluated by expertise by looking at three criteria: correctness, reliability, and usability. The content analysis proceeds to be converted into descriptive data. The result of this study is an MVL product with three subtopic materials: things in the classroom, things in the kitchen, and things in the living room. Each subtopic consists of two activities: material and exercise. This product has been validated by an expert by using an assessment rubric based on three criteria: correctness, reliability, and usability.Keywords: Development Research, My Vocabulary Learning, Vocabulary Teaching, and Learning, Vocabulary
