Abstract

AbstractThe paper presents a solution to the problem of including new functionality, in particular, internal navigation, into the existing information system of the University. The generalized scenario of internal navigation consists in posing and building a route; its possible options are described and implemented in various applications under our guidance. Movement at the University is conditioned by the schedule of events, which implies space–time tracking depending on the role of the user and the infrastructure of the buildings. The developed domain model of the navigation service is divided between four types of separate microservices. A database that is automatically generated from the information structure of the portal and other external systems. The microservice architecture of the navigation subsystem based on the proposed public API will allow creating an individual trajectory for each student and can serve as an object of experiments for their modernization and development by IT students.KeywordsSoftware developmentSpace–time trackingUniversity information systemWeb service
