Designing Intelligence system of Image Processing and Mining in Cloud-Example of New Taipei City Police Department

Abstract

New Taipei City is a metropolitan area in Taiwan, with a prosperous economy and a large population. New Taipei City Police Department shoulders various problems especially social orders and traffic matter. Setting up a complete surveillance system at an event site allows the law enforce unit to access to the site so as to respond to an incident in real time. However, dealing with a huge volume of data in various forms has become a problem. An image mining and analysis system is needed by law enforcement officers to make investigation work more efficient. In this research, an artificial intelligent system is applied to solve the problem. A large amount of image data uploaded from even site would be processed via artificial intelligent algorithm. The target image will be tagged and processed to be sharper, so law enforcement officers can trace the suspects effectively. The revolution of image analysis and mining system of New Taipei City Police Department starts from year of 2014. It started with setting surveillance system and several functions have been added gradually during these years. In the year of 2018, artificial intelligent algorithm is applied for advanced image analysis. GUP server is used for multi-task. The system is in great help to investigators and law enforcement officers for data searching and criminal arresting.
