Abstract

The paper deals with the climate of Iraq: temperature; relative humidity; degree-days for heating and cooling; sunshine hours and solar radiation. It discusses the bioclimatic charts for various cities and, finally, maps of various cooling requirements and heating requirements for the country are drawn.
