Abstract

Rejection of unwanted frequency signals by the transceiver is an important aspect in wireless communication. Use of filter in first stage of RF Front end plays a vital role in elimination of unwanted signals. While designing of transceiver, quality of original signal is ensured by eliminating all types of noise signals through carefully designing of RF filter. This paper presents high order Butterworth Band Pass filter for HF front end. In the subject paper in depth analysis has been carried out on the implementation of Band Pass filter by cascading high pass and low pass filters. For designing of subject filter LC table is comprehensively utilized. The simulated results indicates that proposed filter can effectively be used for HF range (1.5MHz - 30MHz). The design is simulated using Advanced Design System (ADS).
