Abstract
The paper presents aspects concerning the designing, simulation and testing of a low current active band stop filter. The filter is realized with two low pass and high pass filter cells connected in parallel. The operational amplifiers using in the designing stage are TL084. Based on the RC elements’ values and on the simulated frequency characteristics using a dedicated software, the proposed filter was realized. Finally the results obtained by simulation are validated through experimental ones.
