Abstract

At present, the virtual power plant is still in the stage of theoretical research and early pilot development. It has not yet formed a systematic and comprehensive Distributed Energy Resource (DER) modeling, market participation mechanism, operational risk management, operational optimization decision-making method, and systematic operating platform. Given the massive DERs interconnection requirements of the virtual power plant system, this paper proposes a design scheme for the DER interconnection protocol, which solves the problems of the existing application layer protocol, such as high overhead, poor security, and low efficiency of massive interconnection, and supports the safe and stable operation of power grid enterprises and virtual power plant systems.
