Abstract
The threads are most widely used in many industries. For the industries which produce the thread, it is a key skill to adopt the accurate and precise machining of threads because there are so many parameters which affect the dimensions of thread. The aim of the study is to generate the threads with the considerations of the parameters (hardness, blank diameter and surface roughness) which are to be used. Due to this we can determine the dimensions of thread without doing the thread rolling process experiment; as a result if we know the value of the each parameter accurately than we can give the accurate dimensions of the threads before the rolling process and thus reduce the rejection of the threads in the thread forming industry.
