Abstract

As the hub of the traffic system, bridges will be damaged in a long period of bad environment, which leads to the weakening of its external force, which will seriously cause the collapse of the bridge. Acoustic emission is a transient elastic wave generated by the rapid release of energy from local sources within the material under external stress. This kind of stress wave emission can be used for nondestructive testing, and has the effect that other non-destructive testing methods can not replace. By collecting the random characteristic signal of the material and extracting the eigenvalue, the damage of the bridge is analyzed. According to the principle of acoustic emission detection, a set of wireless acoustic emission data acquisition system based on FPGA is designed. The random characteristic signal is collected through 4 high speed AD modules. After the FPGA sorts related data that order cache and SD card are stored in the SD card by the wireless serial port. It is sent to the PC host computer for storage and display, and is used for later data analysis.
